Our Mission
The mission of Camp Allegro Wichita is to offer a unique opportunity for youth to explore and perform diverse forms of music in a supportive and nurturing atmosphere. We are committed to engaging excellent teachers who are passionate about bringing music to students of all backgrounds and abilities, including those who don't play an instrument but wish they did.
Camp Allegro Wichita is a music day camp for youth ages 7 to 18. We offer all levels of instruction, beginning through advanced, on all string and band instruments as well as voice, guitar, ukulele, organ and piano. Classes include chamber music, orchestra, band, jazz band, choir, masterclasses, jazz & blues improv, fiddling, ukulele, art, photography and lots more. Music theory classes are catered to each camper's level of knowledge. In addition to learning how to perform, campers will enjoy performances by professional musicians.

Camp Allegro
Our goal is to introduce the love of music to all campers no matter their abilities, reinforce developing skills, and experience opportunities that are not readily available. Click HERE for more information about Camp Allegro.

General Information
Placement auditions are required to form the appropriate ensembles. Students who do not currently play an instrument are not required to audition. Admission into Camp Musica is determined by audition.
Our camp days are 9 am - 5 pm with mandatory concerts on Thursday and Friday evenings following camp. Camp Musica musicians will have additional opportunities to perform during the week.
Scholarships are available for any camper who needs financial assistance; please note our important deadlines on our Important Dates link on the left hand column of this page.
Our camp faculty are professional musicians who teach privately and in schools as well as perform with the Wichita Symphony, Music Theater Wichita, Wichita Chamber Chorale, Wichita Grand Opera, Delano Chamber Orchestra, and other arts organizations.
