Our Mission

The mission of Camp Allegro Wichita is to offer a unique opportunity for youth to explore and perform diverse forms of music in a supportive and nurturing atmosphere. We are committed to engaging excellent teachers who are passionate about bringing music to students of all backgrounds and abilities, including those who don't play an instrument but wish they did. 

 Camp Allegro Wichita is a music day camp for youth ages 7 to 18.  We offer all levels of instruction, beginning through advanced, on all string and band instruments as well as voice, guitar, ukulele, organ and piano.  Classes include chamber music, orchestra, band, jazz band, choir, masterclasses, jazz & blues improv, fiddling, ukulele, art, photography and lots more. Music theory classes are catered to each camper's level of knowledge. In addition to learning how to perform, campers will enjoy performances by professional musicians.

Our Camp Faculty includes professional musicians who teach privately and in schools as well as perform with the Wichita Symphony, Music Theater Wichita, Wichita Chamber Chorale, Wichita Grand Opera, Delano Chamber Orchestra, and other fine arts organizations.
