Camp Musica         

Camp Musica is for upper-level musicians (advanced high school students and select advanced middle school students).  Camp Musica is 7 days and offers high level instruction to players of all instruments (string, woodwinds, brass, and keyboard). Campers will play in additional chamber music ensembles as well as band or orchestra (pianists will sing in choir and/or play with the jazz band). 

Additionally, those in Camp Musica will receive private lessons, and participate in masterclasses. Classes pertaining to advanced musicianship, and musical concepts. Music theory classes are catered to each camper's level of knowledge.  Campers choose electives such as art, photography, fiddling, jazz & blues improv, ukulele, chimes, percussion, guitar, and organ. In addition to learning how to perform, campers will enjoy performances by professional musicians. Special social events are included for our Musica campers such as a cook-out on Friday June 14th following camp!


Camp dates for Camp Musica are June 14-21 (no camp on Sunday, June 16). Classes are 9 am to 5 pm. Campers will stay after camp on Thursday & Friday for concerts featuring ALL campers. The Thursday concert will begin at 5:45 and the Friday concert will begin at 6:00. 

Lunches will not be provided. An additional meal is needed on Thursday to eat before the concert. Pizza will be provided for dinner preceding the Friday concert. 

Tuition for Camp Musica is $315.

Payment can be made online or mailed in with a check.
